If you’d asked me a few years ago what I thought about energetics, crystals, reiki or journaling, I would have given you a very sceptical raised eyebrow.
But today? These tools are woven into the way I run my life and my business – and they’ve completely transformed my alignment, clarity and energy.
After years of hustling, pushing, striving and forcing my business to work, I reached a point where I needed another way. A softer way. A way that didn’t drain me. A way that allowed my creativity and intuition to lead instead of noise, expectations and “shoulds.”

✨ 1. Journaling + Free Writing: My Morning Alignment
Every morning – usually at 5 or 5:30am when my eyes ping open no matter how late I went to sleep – I meditate and then I journal.
This is my grounded entry into the day. It’s not structured journaling. It’s automatic writing – a mix of meditation, breathwork and allowing whatever wants to flow through to land on the page.
To the logical brain, it’s simply a creative download. But for me, it feels like connecting to something bigger – intuition, higher self, spirit guides, whatever language resonates.
And the messages that come through? They guide my decisions, my business ideas, my relationships, my parenting, my divorce, and everything in between.
When I’m aligned, life flows. When I’m not? Everything feels like wading through treacle.
This is why journaling is the anchor of the entire ritual.

Reiki has been a powerful recalibration tool for me.
My biggest transformational moment? A session that helped me cut energetic cords with a business partner – kindly, compassionately and cleanly.

Reiki helps remove the ego and tune me back into what feels right. I use it to make decisions about partnerships, next steps, offers, boundaries – everything.

I’ve had some health challenges over the last six months (I’ll share more when I’m through it), and acupuncture has been one of the most supportive tools. I see my acupuncturist weekly – through my NHS GP surgery, which I love because it blends classical Chinese medicine with Western medical understanding.

It allows me to reset the energy in my home so I’m not carrying someone else’s emotions, chaos or toxicity.
It’s my gentle, aligned way of saying: “No. This energy is not mine.”
