How to have that courage to tell difficult stories
Having the courage to tell difficult stories is a strength.
What’s painful or embarrassing is your greatest strength.
Sharing your story takes courage, but there is strength in being vulnerable.
In this video, I talk about how to get the courage to tell stories about yourself and tips to tell your story.
Steps on how to get the courage to tell difficult stories
Write down your story, and if you find yourself procrastinating, then set a timer and splurge out your story.
Don’t worry about it being “perfect” or grammatically correct, just focus on telling your story.
Practice telling your story in front of the mirror, and feeling comfortable saying it out loud.
Once you’ve honed and refined your story, you can start practising with others.
The more you talk about what’s painful, your weakness becomes your strength.
Don’t shy away from what’s painful, embrace and OWN IT.
It’s what makes you, YOU. It’s what people admire you for.
