How to figure out what your ideal client wants?

There is a lot nonsense you’ve been told about what your ideal client wants.

We’re told to talk to this mythical creature of an “ideal client”.

When I started up my business, I was encouraged by certain business coaches to fantasize about the perfect person that would buy from me.

What kind of car they would drive, what kind of holiday would go on.

I created a mini fantasy in my head of the perfect person that wanted to buy my services. But the reality is, that person does not exist.

Yep, it’s totally and utter BALONEY!

 

 

Your ideal client is the person who wants to buy from you.

Creating an idea of this perfect person that is going to buy from you is complete and utter nonsense.

There is merit in understanding who you want to talk to in your messaging and marketing.

But switching off a chunk of the population because they’re too old, too young, too female, too male is just plain stupid.

You’re in business to sell.

 

 

I learned it the hard way.

And I’ve realized that my customer base is ANYONE WITH A PULSE THAT WANTS TO BE IN BUSINESS.
